Overall the desk has been great. The only issue we have is that the keyboard table broke within 3 weeks of us getting it. All bearings came off. It would not stay on and We had to rig it to work. Other than that, the table has been great. I regret not reaching out to the company about it.Do NOT buy this desk. Okay. Let me explain. We ordered this desk and FedEx crash delivered this desk on our porch. Since there was no proof the damage was caused by this drop (we witnessed on camera), I requested a replacement. Amazon's refund/replace process ended with the message instructing us to...do nothing! No need to return the damaged desk. It was even suggested we should donate it. We would be issued a refund in a few days! Wut? My daughters monitor was due to arrive in a few days so I rushed to reorder the desk which had DOUBLED the price! Well, I showed my daughter the damaged leg which had a huge scratch front to back along the bottom. The frame and legs are hollow. One rectangle-shaped tubular leg end was almost completely crushed onto itself.My daughter was so looking forward to finally having her custom-built gaming rig set up she said she was alright with the damage so I un-bent the leg opening and set up the desk any way facing the damaged leg in the least-noticeable spot possible.Aside from this damaged leg, the desk was in pretty good shape. The glass tops survived the delivery and all the parts were present. But like I said, the legs are hollow. I was easily crushing the thin metal legs while tightening the allen bolts by hand without realizing it. That's how disappointingly thin they were. However, the desk looked as good as the picture. The keyboard tray was useless. Its exposed bolts scratched my daughter's legs, and I was worried the uncapped ends would possibly damage her gaming chair arm rests so we removed it. Also, the PC holder was too small for her computer. Another useless piece. Maybe it'll be a footstool or something. I don't know.Now here is where it get's...interesting. I reached out to the seller. I did not feel right not paying for the desk if we were going to use if so I told them we would pay something for it and asked what would they take for the damaged desk (headed for the trash). They said, "Return our desk!" and sent a shipping label. Okaaay. I explained Amazon said I did not have to return it, but...okay! So, I out of curiosity I checked online and the price of the desk went back to "normal." Well, a few dollars more than I originally paid. I reordered the desk just to be sure no price gouging was going on and let the seller know I would return the desk. The next day they asked, "where's the desk? Contact FedEx." I told them FedEx had not picked it up yet and wait a few days before checking again." Still not letting on that I was waiting on a replacement before I could ship back the damaged desk. Good thing I did. The replacement came. I only needed 1 good leg. ALL the legs were scratched, but still in better condition than the leg on my daughter's desk. Upon closer inspection, the replacement desk was partially assembled. They sent me a damaged/returned desk! The packing material was cracked. The bags were torn opened. It was even more damaged than the desk we had received!So, not only is this a poorly manufacture desk, the seller is shady selling damaged, returned desks as new. Now this is supposed to be a review of the desk. There is a possibility another seller may offer this desk. In summary, it is a nice looking desk. It is sturdy but poorly made. Once bent, it will not be the same. Same for scratches, but it may clean up or even spray paint well for years to come. The glass is tempered. If you break one of the 3 pieces of glass, replacing the entire top with a couple of piece of wood from Lowe's will still leave you with a very nice looking desk. Still I would not pay more than $100 USD for it. It is good for someone just starting out. Not for kids. It looks nicer than it is. It would be nice to have something with drawers. Like I mentioned before, my daughter's computer is a gaming PC with RGB lights so it's nice to have it on the desk so she can so it off and plug in controllers and her headset as necessary. Even without it on the desktop, there is not a lot of surface area. I'm going to have to find a stand or something to put it on so she can have some room to draw. It is really crowded. Also, it's not very deep. Her monitor is RIGHT in her face. I'm sure the keyboard tray would have backed her away from it a little, but like I said, it was problematic as well. She doesn't complain about it. It's just my opinion when I work on it.All in all, this is a decent product for the price point.Pro Tip: Always read the negative reviews first so you know what you are getting into.Pros:Plastic caps to prevent injury from sharp edges.Feet to make sliding on rugs easier.Hex assembly tool included.Cons:No caps for glass hardware leaves sharp threads exposed.No starter holes in the keyboard tray. (I did not use the tray)Philips head screws, no driver included, could have been hex head.Instructions have no guiding text.Some parts are numbered and others are lettered, chose one, stick with it.Corner glass fitment is a bit fiddly.Assembly tips:Confirm all parts are present.Study the instructions before starting.There are different sized fasteners for different steps, these are noted with a letter.The product uses "blind nuts" these are inside the tubing.These get fouled by paint and are not always straight or square.To reduce the likelihood of cross-threading, before assembling anything, by hand insert a fastener into all of the nuts to clear the paint. Spin the fastener counterclockwise (left) until it clicks or drops, this is the top of the thread, then clockwise(right). 10-15 turns should do to clear the paint, the tool may be necessary.The product uses a minimal amount of welds, try to avoid stressing the welds.If something doesn't fit right loosen fasteners and reposition, do not twist the parts.If not using the keyboard tray rotate the tray arms 90 degrees, they will provide extra stiffness during assembly.Top crossbars have 2 sets of holes the inner set is for the arms that hold the keyboard tray.Pay close attention to the orientation in the instructions.Assemble up to step 10 (frame only no glass) just until snug.This will leave some play in the parts to "square" up the assembly.Fasteners can easily be over tightened, rails walls will give slightly if fasteners are over tightened.After the frame is assembled square the assembly and tighten fasteners.Thread rods into the glass, then place in frame.Place the corner piece first. It is a bit fiddley and may require loosening some or the top rail fasteners.Washers may allow for more play in the corner but are not included.If the glass is not seating correctly try rotating the panel 180 degrees.You may need to loosen some of the top rail fasteners.Hand tighten the retaining nuts, a tool is not provided for these as over-tightening may damage the glass.After the glass is tight if it is not touching the side rails tighten the top rail fasteners.Well i got this for my husbands gaming computer. It arrived early and was well packaged. No breaks or anything. Now the instructions are not written its pictures. I thrive on pictures but what happened next was nothing short of punishment for my transgressions in my life. So there r 16 allen screws. What it said was there were 16 regular and 4 shorter than the rest. I would like to clarify that these 4 are counted in the 16. So the 4 are for the luttle middle piece but they dont reach so i changed them out with the four long ones . It worked perfect. Now the instructions doesnt say not to overtighten as i didnt want it coming apart but i did and had to go back and lossen the top ones since the glass cannot sit properly on the part it is supposed to if its too tight. Also i get almost everything put together and then here comes the keyboard drawer. So there are supposed to be 4 holes to line up on the board to secure it to the slide but i went all over that board and not one whole. It is made out of good material and sturdy so ill drill them later when my dremel cord comes in. Also ull have to play with installing the drawer slides because the whole they want u to use dont work . So aside from over tightening and missing hardware and some nuts that werent threaded right. I would buy again but probably ask a friend to help. Please remeber anything good is worth the fight. Better than ikea.It took about 3 hours to put together but it was worth it! It's sturdy and stylish and fits in the corner of my office space with 3 monitors. Great price, too. Only complaints are the Allen wrench is small and can hurt you hand if it slips out when tightening the bolts. The other is the keyboard tray which doesn't jut out far enough from the table to make typing easier (also it would be betterif it was placed in the corner or nook between the "L" so you can center your monitors on both sides of it) Otherwise the instructions are fairly clear. Just bear in mind how you orient it during set up. Beyond that it's a great value!As a student and work at home person I have purchased this desk mainly for space reasons. without realizing after destroying the original box that the tempered glass was scratched and the arms were rusted on the left side. very cheaply made. So contacted the seller to take it back where I have mentioned the issue. They refused to refund and refused to send me a box to pack it back. I was told to send it back with any box that fits the product. So i wrapped the glass with shrinking wrap and tapped the legs and send it back its my fault if the glass breaks. I Will never shop with this customer and trying to be cheap it turned out to a night mare. my advice save your money and buy a desk that is work it . I will not shop with this seller ever againbought one, loved it but needed more space so i bought a second. holds my pc on top no problem and that things is heavy for sure. trust the pieces, it seems filmsy until the glass goes on but then its sturdy. definitely an awesome buy and looks gorgeous as seen in my photo.Rouille dans lemballagePeinture leve a des place( comme si il y a des bulle de rouille)A part sa , sa fait la job pour le prix.Ma fille adore sont bureau.I know it's a cheap desk and I only bought it for the time being. But few QC issues and things wrong. A major one being the big spot in the middle of the corner glass piece, no idea what it is. Lots of scratches on the legs as well.
