Very sturdy and easy to assemble.My grandkids love these desks because now they have their own space when they want to color or do crafts. They were very easy to put together, thank goodness because I really don’t like assembling items. It took around 45 minutes to put together. You can adjust the height of the chair and desk by holding down the base by standing on them and pulling up to the height you need. To lower, step on the base and pull all the way up then push all the way down. The girls love these!I initially purchased 4 of the desks for home schooling and they decided against it so I sent two of them back. They were refunded with no problems, which made me very happy. Just make sure if you are returning more than 1 desk that your return labels have different tracking information. Mine were identical but I didn’t notice that before I returned them, but when I reached out to the company, they made sure I received my refund as 2 were returned.I chose this desk for my 4th grade son. He has finally gotten to the point where he needs a space of his own, and his toddler brother likes to get into everything when he sits in the dining room. I liked that this has an adjustable setting to the desk height and to the chair height. I would definitely say that this desk is more for elementary school, as it doesn't have much room to spread out.The assembly wasn't difficult, but it did take me about an hour to put together. And if your child is curious about the pins, they can push them and make the chair or desk sit cocked to one side. However, I plan to use this for him. Then pass it along to my 2 y/o to use. It's great for small spaces, as you can see in the image.I can't speak on longevity, as it was a Christmas gift.The table and chair seem to hold up a bit of weight on them. They can withstand a little one’s banging and throwing stuff on the table and standing on the chair. It does seem to still be a bit tall and I hope that it could adjust a bit lower so that smaller kids can sit on the chair without struggling or writing on the desk without feeling awkward about the height.Perfect for my 1st grade daughter who is homeschooled. She loves it. Was pretty easy to assemble just time consuming.My daughter loves it really sturdy.... although when received it had a nick on the top of the desk. I am extremely pleased we had been attempting to purchase a desk for our daughter since covid started. Glad we received in a timely manner and she loves it....I have No complaint at all, my daughter love it. It was easy to assemble and very sturdy.
