The instruction to assemble is terrible,hard to understand what piece goes where. But it's very sturdy. I do wish it had a back board because it not against my wall.The provided hardware for this item protruded through the side of other boards when tightened appropriately. Someone from customer service reached out and is going to send a replacement part and said they are working to remedy the problem. Please with my customer service experience and I really do like the shelf.This was by far the easiest diy project I’ve ever put together! Good materials - packed very well. Each wood piece numbered, screws in separate bags, Allen wrench and magnetic philipshead, along with a pair of gloves all neatly packed. The directions were very easy to follow - never got lost once, or have that thought,”now what am I supposed to do.” Every screw hole aligned correctly. Every screw worked easily into intended hole. Never needed power tools (although some probably think I’m nuts for not using them). Shelf used for supplies I need for miniatures - dollhouses, etc. I’m going to look for second shelf now from same company for all my glue and adhesives.This is a really awesome shelf! The only thing is make sure you pay attention to the sides that are with the cabinet, there is a shelf in the cabinet that this will holdHard to assemble. It took over an hour to assemble by someone very handy.Even though it's smaller than I expected, it's a sturdy, cute piece for any office. After assembly, I saw how versatile it was, but I don't really "need" it. It more of a decorative piece for than me than an operational piece because of its size. The craftsmanship makes me keep it for decoration, but I wished it was 3-4 inches wider in order to hold papers.I haven’t had a chance to to put my desk together to use this desktop organizer just yet, but from what I can tell so far it’s pretty sturdy and larger than I expected. It did take me a while to put it together because I get distracted so easily and this thing takes your full undivided attention to assemble. If you miss one step you could be doomed to have to take it apart and repeat several steps over again. I tried to layout all the wood before I began to assemble to make sure I knew where each piece was and where it needed to go exactly and that helped me visually. This organizer comes with instructions, decent hardware, gloves, a screwdriver and a bit. I used the bit for the screws include in my Milwaukee ratchet screwdriver and that was nice to have. Also, I got the matching printer stand from Giclain and the two make a nice setup. Thanks and hope this helps!I have been using this on my shipping desk to hold all my shipping supplies, from the paper to the tape measure to the scissor and other label stuff. All my labels as well as my Hub with power, fan and monitor for shipping with. This is my full shipping workstation but stacked up so that I don't have to use all the desk space and can use that space for the actual packaging of the box. Building this took around 40 minutes and wasn't that complicated, I love that it is adjustable because I can make it fit basically any desk. Really versatile! I will be using it for the foreseeable future.
