Great for telling time, because it's very easy to see. However, if you plan to rely on this as an alarm clock, you may want to consider something louder. The one we got has a nearly-inaudible alarm that will only wake you up if you're already awake. If you don't need it as an alarm clock, then it's a small, handy clock that's easy to read.This alarm clock is exactly what I was looking for! I prefer to use a battery operated alarm clock, and this one is perfect. It has dual alarms, and the snooze is programmable. You can set the snooze to be anywhere from 1-15 minutes. I prefer a 5 minute snooze. There are 3 levels of brightness but the clock is not lit up unless you are setting the time/alarm or if you tap the snooze button. I like a dark room when sleeping so I just tap the snooze button if I need to know the time in the night. The alarm is very quiet when it first goes off but gets louder as it continues. I just got this alarm clock but so far it’s perfect for my needs.I was looking for this size of digital alarm clock for a long time. Finally I found it!I am using it for work (massage therapy). I can always take it with me.I was really happy until the next morning when the Alarm went off 3 times! I Snoozed once, went off again 10 minutes later , snoozed it again... > finally I took out the batteries.I did not setup the Alarms purposely since I bought it for the portability function.The clock is decent all-around. Screen is bright and temperature sensor accurate to within 5 degrees. The viewing angles are somewhat limited, requiring the clock to be below you to see clearly, given the upwards tilt on the base of the clock. The time is shown in large numbers and easily visible from a distance. Alarm is pretty loud.Item description is incorrect at the time of writing. The clock requires 2 AAA batteries, not AA.Easy to read and set up. Was looking for a way to tell the temp in our granddaughters' bedroom when they visit. Don't want it too hot or too cold. Plus it's a digital clock too. Two great features in one. Glad I got it.It’s quite small 2.75” X 3.75” but functional. I keep it on my dresser. It doesn’t clash with other décor and it helps me with my time management every morning.I like the simple intuitiveness of this little battery clock. It is exactly what I wanted. The digital number size is relatively large, slightly over an inch. It was easy to set both the time and the alarm. It is made to be only temporarily lit, such as a time check on a bed table during the night - (probably to conserve power from the two small batteries) -- which is okay for me. It uses two AA batteries, not included. My only improvements would be if it came with a velcro strip on the bottom to hold it to surfaces (or in the car) as it is very light and not super stable in place. (I may glue on my own.) It would also be superb if it could link automatically with the atomic clock time like lots of larger battery models do now.So far I love this little alarm clock. I prefer battery powered ones just because I already have a lot of things plugged in by my bed, and also because my toddler likes to grab whatever is on my nightstand and throw it around. The temperature measurement is so far accurate, which I also like for seeing if our AC is working good in our bedroom. I will say that it is also easy to program. I also want to say that the alarm is not obnoxious at all or too loud!
