So, I don't hate this tray table. But it is definitely not exactly worth the price, given the issues with design and construction. The instructions were not explicit enough and some of the pre-drilled holes did not line up at all, so they had to be screwed in at an odd angle and ended up cracking the cross piece (see pic). Also, the main tray table is badly warped and won't sit flat (see pics). I also had to leave the hinge pieces a little loose to make it fit good enough for it to even fit on properly. I do wish there were more adjustable angle options, too. Ultimately, despite the flaws, it still functions for what I need and seems as if it will stay together well enough. I wish there were some way to get at least a partial refund, given the issues. It's worth maybe $30, not the $60 I paid. Pretty disappointing.I use this sturdy, pretty table as my I pad stand near the couch. Convenient to use my I pad and papers. I can watch tv and have my table near me. It was difficult to put together. It would have been easier to have a real screwdriver. I do like it and happy I bought this product.First, there was a large dent with missing wood -- I sanded it down, now it is a smooth dent. And would it be too much trouble to make sure the screws are in a bag? There was a beat up bag in the box, opened and it contained only decals (for what, I don't know). What happened to quality control?I occasionally host guests in a small studio where space is limited. This little table serves well for snacks and drinks and converts easily to a laptop desk that can be used while sitting on the bed.The table was harder to assemble than it should have been. The lift top doesn't shut flush with the rest of the table. I use it, but I'm disappointed with the quality. I didn't know it would have the issue with shutting until I had it together. I had already disposed of the box so I couldn't send it back or I probably would have.Item works for what I needed it for.Overall a well engineered table with some QC issues.-Some of the holes for assembly screws did not allign causing difficulty in assembly and splits in components.-The hinges are very low quality. Screw holes out of alignment and the screws do not fit countersinks causing binding-The bag holding fasteners came open in both packages. Screws were everywhere One tabletop was damaged as result.
