It was easy putting together, until it wasn’t lol. While putting my desk together, I was wondering why I was struggling so long to put the bottom shelf together—but realized it was a manufacture problem. The holes on the shelf don’t align with the holes in the bars. So for my bottom shelf, I only screwed in bolts for the front side. It’s still functional as it lays flat, but it’ll be a problem for whenever I move out of places in the future. I really like this desk, but the rating will stay a 4/5 because of this.simple sturdy desk. It was pretty easy to assemble, just struggled a bit with the shelves. I was looking for a desk that was deep enough that I could have a laptop and still have room enough to write on a piece of paper. I recommend this desk!!Purchased desk for computer desktop set up in my master bedroom. Perfect size for the space we had. Very sturdy and lobe tray it has two shelve spaceStabilizer bar (piece 6) arrived bent.Screw holes for lower shelf (piece 9) do not match holes where they are to attach to frame.Was able to have someone straighten bent bar to get attached. Lower shelf is useless due to drilled holes not matching.Put together, nice looking, but not sure about sturdiness.I love this desk! Aesthetically speaking is beautiful and have a lot of room! However, since the top is practically laminated MDF, you have to be very careful when screwing the top the legs. Unfortunately, one of the screws went all the way across my top and now part of the top is peeling. So when assembling, be careful when screwing the top and don’t push it too far so you don’t go all the way thru the MDF.Easy to assemble, plenty of space, the color is really nice also. I’m more than happy with it.Great desk for the price. There were some small rust spots at the welded joints and a few of the pre drilled holes didn’t exactly line up. The back support rail was slightly bent due to the box being crushed but it was easily straightened back out. It all went together easily. Couldn’t be the price for a second desk in my office.Assembled easily, and even though it is somewhat light, it is plenty sturdy. I love it.
